Hi, I'm Mishal and I'm the founder and CEO of Freightleads. I’ve been involved in the freight transportation game for about 25 years now. I’ve worn several hats and played many roles over the past couple of decades.
I've operated as a shipper. I've been a freight broker. I've facilitated imports, exports and domestic distribution. I've arranged freight transportation for trade shows, project logistics, and oversized shipping and I've even worked as a baggage and cargo handler at the airport loading and unloading planes in -30°F subarctic temperatures.
And what my experience has taught me is that nothing moves the needle more effectively when it comes to new business development in the spot freight market than being genuine, authentic and having transparency in your dealings and above all, being able to form a deep and meaningful connection with your fellow human being.
With more than 600,000 telephone minutes of business-to-business cold calling under my belt, pitching, selling, negotiating and making deals I've learned some lessons along the way about marketing and selling freight transportation services over the phone and winning new customer accounts rapidly and consistently.
And I'm finally beginning to understand the essence of what it takes for a person to develop a genuine desire to move forward and do business with with me and my company and it's my hope to share with you my knowledge and experience to help you discover and connect with new shippers to grow your book of business, establish new shipping lanes, be more profitable and become the leader of the freight jungle.
